As part of the ‘Operation Clean Money’ Program of Government, the Income Tax Department conveying the maximum schools of Ludhiana District; Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Asst. Commissioner IT Dept, visited Guru Nanak International Public School, B.R.S Nagar today. He conveyed the message of Swachh Bharat Swachh Dhan to the school children. He awarded the students of the role and importance of Income Tax in nation building and how it can help disseminate the message of the need for compliance and tax payment in their family, neighbours and society. He was also informed about the website www.apnakar.com and provided a link called “Student Corner” where the students would be able to continue to communicate with the Department. “Apnakar Tree” was also planted in the school ground in the presence of Principal Mrs. Bedi; and the students of Class XI accompanied them. The students took pledge to “Pay Tax honestly and aware the people to pay the Tax”
